Chelsey Mam is an experienced civil litigation attorney whose practice centers on complex commercial disputes, including insurance recovery on behalf of policyholders, real estate disputes, and constitutional law disputes. She represents a wide range of clients—ranging from international corporations and public entities to local businesses, startups, and individuals. Chelsey guides her clients through high‑stakes cases with strategic insight and practical judgment. She has extensive experience litigating cases in federal district courts in Washington, King County Superior Court, and the Washington appellate courts, including before the Washington Supreme Court.
Before joining Martinez & Farmer, Chelsey practiced at BCLP, a multi-national law firm, and several respected boutique litigation firms in Seattle, including Harrigan Leyh Farmer & Thomsen LLP, Gordon Tilden Thomas & Cordell LLP, and Byrnes Keller Cromwell, LLP. Early in her career, she clerked for the late Honorable Judge David Armstrong at Division II of the Washington Court of Appeals, gaining valuable insight into judicial decision‑making.
Chelsey earned her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating first in her class and serving as Editor‑in‑Chief of the Gonzaga Journal of International Law. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington.
In addition to her legal practice, Chelsey is committed to community leadership. She serves as President of MAMA USA and is a Co‑Director of Sponsorship for MAMA Seattle. She also has served in volunteer roles with her kids’ local little league and school.
